2008年我在關島的考試分享

我禮拜天從關島考完回台灣..以下是這次考試我所碰到且有記住的題目類型，星期四一到關島的中午就先考Auditing, 七月上旬已確定收到通知,四科全都都順利通過囉

Auditing-

選擇題的部份我主要考到有關(1)SSARS的review和compilation， (2) Specialist/service auditor 和 Internal control 的題目.  另外冷門的題目則是有關在Governmental auditing下的Single Activity Act--考minimum required materiality amount for auditing...這只出了一題，Simulation的部份有2題，第一題前半段就是根據題目所給的scenario去選擇答案，而Communication部份則是說明 " the importance of segregation of duties and internal control within the org. in order to improve its reputation"，第二題前半段是給了好幾種scenarios of AR confirmations，然後去選擇答案.Communication的部份則是問" what types of subsequent evens and how it is applied to the case scenario".
 ==>整體上，不會太難，時間應該也足夠~只是我的communication上花了些時間所以我research的部份都沒做.

 第二天早上考FAR.

 FAR-

 選擇題考" governmental auditing" 和" non-for- profit organization" 超級多~~其它的則考的沒多少，Simulation: 我只記得前半段，第一題是考inventory valuation under 3 calculation bases-- FIFO， LIFO和Weighted average.第二題則是考accounts receivable bad debts valuation on the given conditions.
 ==>整體上，考的有點不順，時間上很趕~~~~

第三天考REG和BEC

REG-

我只記得選擇題的部份大部份都放在稅的部份且考的蠻平均的，法的部份考的很少，Simulation的部份我記得考了一題是要求做Income statement based on " Per Book" and " Per Tax". 其它的記不得了~
 ==>整體上，我覺得時間上還是有點趕~~

BEC-

主要都是考Partnership. 除此之外再來是考(1) break-even-point 的計算(2) inventory cost 的計算(3) information technology...等，時間上我就做的很慢，時間到也剛好做完.

 基本補充對第一次去的考生:
(1)考場是在Bank of Hawaii大樓的第四樓.
(2)考生被要求一定要帶NTS， Passport 和Credit card( 2nd identification)給考場人員檢查.   因為有些考生忘記帶NTS而考試地方又不提供printing的服務，附近也沒有很多shops....所以...
